No matter who you are, no matter what you were doing just a few minutes, hours or even weeks ago, no matter where you have been, or what you have seen, or how desperately deep you have been hurt or hurt some one else. God still loves you. And he always will. While you may feel worthless, he saw you as one worth dying for. While you may feel forgotten, he tells a story in his holy word that has a place for you to belong. While you may feel that no one is listening, there is not a whimper, a word, a cry or bit of laughter that he has not heard pour forth from your heart upon your lips. He has seen it all, he has heard it all, and yet he still loves you. Holy Scripture says, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8, NIV).
