As we continue our study on what it means to be born again and being born of water and the Spirit we come to Galatians 3:26-27. “You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.”
Isn’t it wonderful that the Lord does not leave us guessing about our hope of entering the kingdom of God? He tells us how to get into Christ! He tells us to have faith and to be baptized. And one of the blessings of having been baptized into Christ is that we become “clothed” with Christ.
When one is clothed he is covered and protected from the elements of weather. He is protected from the wind, sleet and rain. So it is for those who have been baptized and clothed in Christ. The ones who are clothed in Christ are very much protected from Satan’s fiery darts. Also, on judgment day God will see not you and your sins. Rather the Heavenly Father will see the One you are clothed in — he will see Christ! Have you my friend, been clothed in Christ?
