Jesus Times It Right (20101115)

“On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2  and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.  3  When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”  4  “Dear woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.”  (John 2:1-4, NIV)

How different Jesus’ heart is than that of many preachers, politicians and power mongers!  Many in this world are eager to push their own agendas and power and to increase their own sphere of influence which in the end serves not those in need, but themselves.

Jesus is different.  He desires to preach, to serve and do his miracles.  But not simply for the goal of proving who he is, but in a time and manner that includes those who need him most.

In the end it will be not only the miracles he does, but also the life he gives that reveals he is the true Messiah, the Christ, he is Jesus!
