This Is The Day!

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24, NIV).

Simple, concise and beautiful.  The question that remains is to us, “Do we trust?”  Do we trust that God, rather than men made this day and set it in place for us?  Do we trust that after all things have been considered that it will be, somehow, in the long run a good day full of expected as well as unexpected blessings?  Are we willing to be stretched spiritually and see past the pain, the hurt and the disappointments that Satan places before us and see the acts of redemption that God is working on our behalf?   Are we willing to be an agent of redemption for those around us that have yet to learn that “Indeed, this is the day that the Lord has made?”  Are we willing to allow ourselves to be a new lens to those around us who have become blinded by the clouds of sin and depression?  Are we through faith, prayer and trusting in God’s promises living life with a smile upon our face and joy in our heart knowing that whatever it is that we and our loved ones are facing today, this remains, “The day the Lord has made?”

One of the most beautiful pictures in the mind’s eye is the one where the sun-beams brilliant light penetrate the darkest cloud and if we will allow ourselves we will see a crown.  It is yours in Christ if you believe, “THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE!”

 Enjoying the Day,

Keith
