As we continue our study on the wife of noble character we read in Proverbs 31:19-22, “In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. 20 She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. 21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. 22 She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.”
Wow! Have you ever taken note of a resourceful woman? Here God reveals a woman who is raising a family, overseeing a business enterprise as well as meeting the needs of the poor in her community. And she does it all in style! She is clothed in scarlet! Her home has the best décor!
She knows that the resources she has are from God and they are meant to be shared not only with herself and her family, but with those in true need in the community. She can do this because she continually trusts God to bless her every need.
