Did you know that God’s word teaches us that in order for us to experience the resurrection of Christ we have to share in the death of Christ?
Consider these words found in Romans 6:3-5: “Don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.”
Are you my friend looking forward to being united with Jesus in the resurrection? If you are not, let me encourage you to choose Christ, to be buried with him in baptism. And in this way you can claim the hope of eternal life through sharing in the resurrection of Jesus Christ!
