There are many who believe that they are not good enough for God. They believe that they don’t measure up. They believe that God could not possibly love them because of their many sins and shortcomings. Some may think that if when they were younger and had chosen a different path in life they could have the hope of eternal life. They may think that God only loves the church. But, that God certainly could not love them.
Let me assure you friend, that such is not the case. God loves everyone! Certainly God does love his church, but God loves you too! In John 3:16, Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Did you hear Jesus’ words? God so loved the world! No matter what sin, shortcomings, wickedness or evil, there is still hope for you in Jesus Christ. And this is true because God still loves you.
