As I am recording this episode of AgapePoint Minute Japan is being inundated by a 8.9 earthquake, a tsunami and all the aftermath of such a catastrophic event. By the time you either hear or read this message a week will have passed for us here in the US. But, for many in Japan, I would imagine that their lives will have been forever changed. What we have witnessed through television and on the internet here will have been suffered and lived through in person in Japan. I can’t help but to be moved in heart and spirit and to invite you to take a moment and remember those in prayer who are surely trying to make some sense of their lives in the aftermath of such destruction.
Might we take courage in Jesus’ words in such times as these, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.” (John 14:1, NIV).
