Sharing Biblical Principles in Residential Communities

How often does Corporate America invite the Church to minister within its realm?  Not often enough, and yet that is exactly what is happening at the Pheasant Run apartment complex in St. Louis County. Realizing their tenants are struggling in the recession, the apartment management is growing concerned at how the economy is going to affect people's abilities to pay their rent. They are also worried about the potential for rising domestic violence as people are stressing out under the strain. With this in mind, the property managers have been conversing with Keith, asking what he might be able to do and offering space in their facility to accomplish the task.

We are praying for God to direct the shape this ministry should take as it has the potential to spread to apartment complexes owned by the same company nationwide (20 St. Louis locations and over 90 locations in 13 states). Keith will be talking with the company to establish a ministry plan, then connecting people who have the heart and talents to meet the needs of the tenants and lead them to Christ. Initially, this will entail seminars and programs addressing financial, marital, and family concerns and could lead to new church plants within the apartment complexes or nearby areas.

"The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go!" (Luke 10:2-3)
